Guest guest
Went back to massotherapist today for 90 minute deep tissue to try to release my rock hard neck, shoulder and head muscles. Using heat, ice, massage. Tightening expanding to neck, chest, arms and right hand. Breasts swollen and painful. Burning skin all over like acid. Hot skin on legs. Feet ice cold. Skim and scalp itching like crazy! Feeling stiff, disoriented, week. Nothing helping. Doctors just say it is stress and Fibro. Burning throughout my body, like a sunburn. Muscle relaxers doing nothing. Floated in 90 degree pool for hour to try to loosen contracted muscles. Didn't help. Miserable.
Guest guest
My hot tub is 104 in winter, 102 in summer although I can't use it during the day in the summer. It takes that much heat plus very powerful jet massage to get my muscles to relax. I've had crazy bad scalp itching and the only thing that really helped was Scalpicin from the drug store. There are two types of it, one based on hydrocortisone and one on salicylic acid (sp?). You have to rotate them because effectiveness drops quickly with use for both. It is expensive so one other thing I did was buy hydrocortisone cream (which is pretty cheap by comparison), put it in a cup, added water and stirred for ages, then applied like the scalpisin. The relief is wonderful and it does last for hours. Nothing else I tried worked although sticking my head in ice cold water gave me a very short few minutes of sanity. Muscle relaxers have never helped me either and I've tried all of them. I am so sorry that you are going through this. I hope you can find some relief soon.
