Hi Cutie,

Genie the Meanie, here. :)

Gosh darn... are you suffering with that lousy

time of the month AGAIN?

Gee, it's been only 2.5 to 3 weeks, Sheila!!!

Wish your gyn had given

you a sample of estradiol, and a sample of

progesterone. <sigh>

Then again, you may *not* be a good candidate

for any type of

hormone therapy.

Have a vague recollection that there's a newer

treatment...

basically, they insert a probe (kind of like

your car's cigarette

lighter) and cauterize the blood vessels -

to stop the bleeding.

Yes, I'm quite sure the patient is knocked

out, during the procedure.

You really need to start grumbling about this,

Kiddo.

Don't ask... TELL THEM... you want *something*

done!

All things considered, it sounds like the road

trip went pretty well.

Heck, you didn't notice when Debbie and I

jumped out!

While you were taking pictures, we were scoping

the young guys

on the beach - that wore Speedo's. :)

Those Pina Colada's and

Strawberry Margarita's were mighty tasty!

So... what's your opinion of Cytomel treatment?

Do you feel better?

Less foggy? More energy?

Happy that you two had a terrific time!

NO Hugs Tonight... we're sick.

Hi there! Thanks for the very warm welcome!!

I missed

you guys too!!!

I actually didn't have too hard of a time being in the

car. I sat in the back both ways and that helped a

lot. We brought our laptop with us, and my girlfriend

and I watched movies and music videos and played

games. I had a hard hour when Kemal was driving

through really heavy rain--very anxious--but my

girlfriend kept telling me not to look and to focus on

the movie. Other than that we had no bad weather,

thank goodness.

I think having other people in the car helped. When

it's just me and Kemal, I always am the "navigator."

Plus sitting up front I see everything and that makes

me nervous. The laptop also kept me very occupied.

The trip back yesterday was very hard on me because I

was having severe menstrual cramps the whole way.

It was a very tight squeeze with all of you there, but

we all had a great time!!!

I will post some pictures when I get settled these

days.

Yeah, I know road trips are infamous for causing

constipation, but man, this was really bad. The whole

trip down my girlfriend and I ate nothing but figs,

prunes and jerkey (I actually ate very little jerky

since you and Kemal turned your noses up at the figs

and prunes!!! LOL).

My girlfriend had a bad case of diarrhea by the time

we got to our destination. I was not so lucky. I'm

back on track now though since I'm home and back to

drinking my Turkish coffee. Five minutes after

drinking it I'm in the bathroom. I usually take our

little Turkish coffee pot and and grinder with us on

vacations...not this trip though. I'll never leave

home without it again. That stuff keeps my plumbing

working!!!

No, my doc didn't RX two separate pills...just regular

birth control pill. do you think my reactions were

pretty uncommon? I have a good friend who said she got

abdominal pain from birth control pills, but it wasn't

after two days. And the breaking out on my

foot...well, I don't think that's necessarily normal,

but that's exactly what happened with the wellbutrin.

Maybe I'm just weird!?

So you and Debbie have been misbehavin', eh? I must

admit I did a little misbehavin' myself. The night our

friends got married I had two pieces of cake. One cake

was made by the groom's mother--took her 3 hours to

make--an old Bosnian recipe. Wow, it was packed full

of sugar and chocolate. You have no idea how yummy it

was. I haven't had refined sugar since Feb. I believe.

Then I made a wedding cake also, and I figured I might

as well try it since I already had some sugar. Oh my

gost, I was in heaven!!

I did, however, pay for my sins. That night and the

next day my sugar levels were so messed up, but I

guess once a year I'm permitted to misbehave a

little!!!

Well, chickee, I gotta run pick up some laundry. So

nice hearin' from you again. Take care and thanks

again for the warm welcome and big ole hug!!! Here's

one back at ya {{Sheila}}
