Guest guest
Rita, Did your myoclonic jerks go away? Did you have any other neurological symptoms. I have been having myoclonus for almost a year now and dystonic spasms and muscle pain. I don't have quite the exhaustion you have but I can hardly walk it hurts so bad. The less I do the better I feel or I should say I don't get to feeling worse. I was dx'd with Hashimotos Nov 10 and have been on .1mg thyroid since then. I believe I have had it since by early 20's and I am now 52. I have another appt in neurology on Monday and I will make sure they do all the appropiate test again. I have noticed some improvement but not where they neurological symptoms are concerned. They did an EMG about 2 weeks ago and I know they found some problems...just did not understand 1/2 of what the doc that tortured me with needles and electric shocks was saying. I also have COPD and a few other problems that are probably not related to the thyroid, but you can never tell... I am really hoping to get well enough to go back to work. I was actually approved for SSD this month...it starts in January. Any details you can offer up about your own journey would be greatly appreciated.
