Hi Meg,

Is your chicken or turkey Grass fed and no soy. We have problems

when we have beef with soy and in a dry lot. We raise our own

chickens and turkey without soy and on grass and don't seem to have

any problem with that. Good luck finding someoone that doesn't feed

their birds soy.

Yes this way of fixing grains has taken us off a gluten free diet.

And led us to the right way for dairy also. We are just getting

started with fermentation of veggies.

> I'm looking forward to getting to know the rest of you. I'm

interested in hearing stories of how well this diet works/doesn't

work for different health problems. Sounds good in theory.. but are

people getting over diseases eating this way? It's sure a lot nicer

socially and for the " warmth " of the home to be able to have home-

cooked bread. I also tried the fish-head broth and it was very good..

felt good in my tummy and suprisingly enough, filled the house with a

wonderful aroma. I'm wondering why I also blew up with gas when I

made homemade chicken/turkey soup.. even without the noodles. Anyone

have a clue?

Hi Meg,

I'm very interested in your fruit soda drinks you are concocting.

I'm trying to devise an alternative to soft drinks for my family and

this sounds like something I should try. I've made the ginger ale,

but it tastes a little too " medicinal " . Could you be specific on the

amounts of the fruit that you use per amount of liquid? You use the

whole fruit rather than the fruit juice? Do you mash the fruit? And

is the licorice root dried or fresh? You leave the mixture at room

temp for just a couple of days, right?

I'm doing some experimenting with recipes also and have converted

some baked goods recipes successfully. They are in the archives.

Also, has posted a wonderful breadstick recipe that she

devised and a few bread recipes, one of which I'm trying out right

now. Type in " bread " on the archive search and you will find them.

You will also find a health testimonial that I wrote out to the group

about my experiences on this diet. It's not been very long since I

wrote it.

Keep up the experimentation!

And PLEASE post you successful ones!!

whey, adding honey sometimes. The drink is sparkly like soda and the

fruit blends into a great sauce, bursting with flavor, with just a

little added honey. We've done pears, apples, cherries, sumac, haws,

plums and grapes. I like to blend different fruits for the sauce. The

sauce is thick enough to spread on bread and keeps really well in the

fridge. We'll be trying cranberries next.

well.. 1/2 c. honey, 1/2 c. whey, 1 in. slice of peeled and sliced

ginger root and about 10 licorice root sticks, a splash of vanilla

extract (I'd cut up a bean if I had one) water to cover in a qt. jar.

soda that I now have a 5-gal bucket perpetually going. We add all of

our fruit that is getting mushy and cores and whatever. I added a

little ginger root and licorice sticks and nutritional yeast. I keep

adding fresh whey and water and we strain through pillowcase cloth as

needed.

Quick fruit soda - a teaspoonful of cascadian farm organic fruit juice

concentrate in a cup of perrier. My husband has given up soda for this

alternative, and actually now enjoys it quite a lot more. Has anyone made

homemade root beer?

Hi Liane. It's good to be here. Anyplace where I can share my light and be with others of like mind is a good place to be.

Actually I like all your inspirational videos on You Tube. I wasn't aware you had so many of them. From time to time I spread inspirational videos like that around in the groups I'm involved with but that get's into my introduction so here goes.

I first become involved with reiki several years ago about the same time I first became spiritual and stopped trying to be religious. I had reiki done on me at a holistic center here in Columbus, felt a huge amount of heat from the practitioner's hands and knew I had to learn it. In person reiki instruction tends to be expensive so I learned it from books and from an online class I found. And there's a spiritual principle that says if you are supposed to learn something you will so I met a local reiki master who taught me level 2 and 3 of reiki at no charge. I'm a computer technician and an amateur website developer so I knew part of my spiritual path is creating an online reiki class of my own. After becoming a reiki master I created my own online reiki class, hosted it in Geocities, and made an access portal to it in a group I moderate called DS Reiki Circle. Previously I sold access to it at a very low cost. Now online reiki instruction is not as popular as it once was so I offer level 1 and 2 at no charge and I still sell access to level 3 which is currently hosted at Universal Class.com. I also moderate another group called Ohio Reiki which is a networking group for reiki people and other energy healers in Ohio. I felt that group was important because I noticed reiki people didn't seem to be able to connect with each other. And I teach reiki in person at a few holistic centers in Columbus. And finally I do a bit of EFT, hypnosis, and Tarot although those are something I do for myself and for friends.

Inspirational videos are a new thing that have recently come into my life. I began to notice these Law of Attraction video vision boards on You Tube called "mindmovies", most of which seemed to point to a site at mindmovies.com where they offered a low cost online course in creating your own video vision board. Although most of those I've seen seemed to be making the Law of Attraction into something very materialistic and overlooking the spiritual aspects of it I took the class anyway and began making my own mindmovies all of which have a spiritual focus and less of a materialistic focus like most of the ones I've seen. I get the sense these inspirational videos are a very big part of what I came here to do as a lightworker. I notice Liane does a very similar thing (and is extremely good at it) and there are others in You Tube or on My Space who also do this as part of their spiritual path and I find them and make them my friends and help them promote their work in the groups I'm a part of or locally. This is what I do.
