Thanks :-) I missed the net by about three minutes. LOL The police

officer was entering the building as I was leaving with my ride. I did go to

the police station and have them take a Polaroid of the bruises from the

nurse, so when I am all better I can complain to the hosp administration.

These are not bruises like you sometimes get from an injection, but are in the

shape of the nurses thumb and fingers. Now if I can just get myself to go back

to bed, I will get better. I have kept my temp normal for almost 12 hours now.

Thanks for the kind words, . Love to you,

Dear ,

I'm glad you got away from the ER before they threw a net over you. I hope

now that the fever has broken you will be on the mend. It sounded like a

real nightmare for you. I hate the flu and you are in my prayers.

love,

j

I do not know what to do !!! The last flu shot gave me the " death flu "

the 103+ temp. I saw purple hugh on everything. Wanted very much to die .

And could not keep sheets dry as I didn't have that many to change with. Oh

I was sick, so Im scared as the dickens of the

flu anti-virus . What to do ? Yes I take massive C and E and

do not abuse myself , no booze no smoke good diet should be

well or dead. Echinacea worked great till I got the flu , fooled them didn't

we. Well its Niquil and valium to sleep through it next time.

what a horror story! I am glad you made it out alive. Sounds like a

third world country in South America or somewhere. Even there you would

probably be treated better.

Yes after these last few days I have seriously considered getting the flu shot

however I have heard that those can be so bad for you. I don't drink and it

has been impossible to smoke with this Dang thing so I pulled out my handy

nicoderm patches and have rejoined the land of the non smokers again. could be

the only good thing out of this years flu season. My ribs hurt so bad from

coughing because they are all fused from the AS felt like they are broken.

Today they feel better. so they are not torn lose or anything I think. I did

manage to go out for a little bit today to keep the fellas in the foot ball

pool honest. and I did manage to eat a little chicken. So that is all good

still having the fever off and on, but bought some Tylenol for that, and the

Doc put me on a strong antibiotic, called levofloxacin, 500 mg and gave me

also some promethazine with codeine syrup. I have stopped throwing up however

am still not as lucid as I wish to be. I am glad you are my friend .

See you all later.

Thanks and true, I probably would have been treated better any where else that

nurse was not at. However I think she will hear about it tomorrow. my Tech

Director called me again this morning to get her name and I have photos of my

arm where she grabbed me and bruised me, to send to the hosp administrators.

The worse part was they put me in this room, and then came and moved me to

another room so they could have that room for a woman in labor. I would not

want to be put in a bed in a room to have a baby where some one with the flu

had just been there. and she was just coughing all over the place (the nurse)

I do not think that hospital was very sanitary

Man, , what a story! But you're right, the first thing they want to do

is pump Prednisone and Methotrexate. " Traditional " meds, the killers, and

that's all they know. HELLOOOOO, some of you doctors, educate yourselves,

like some of the wonderful doctors we have taking care of us!
