Guest guest
So Sue, in two or three sentences, how would you more accurately describe the parameters used in the Billings Method? >25yrs ago, I was taught to keep track of mucus and sensation, with the slippery or lubrication being the most significant sign of fertility, along with potential vulvar fullness, etc. I was assuming, perhaps incorrectly, that was still what is taught. Perhaps it would be better just to use the word " sensation " without describing it? My plan is to give the basic concepts of how our body works, the signs we can notice, and then *list* the different methods and what they look for. I don't have more than a few sentences or lines for each. If I write too much, the magazine will throw it ALL out. Guest guest
, I will try to get a summary to you soon. Yes, we still teach sensation and mucus observations with sensation being the most important. I was concerned that what you had written made it sound like we only chart sensation when it's slippery. Slippery is the highest fertility because it happens very close to ovulation and it's coming from the P6 mucus crypts. Dr. Odeblad is discovering more and more P mucus types and is now referring to it as the P System. Yes, it is a better plan to just use the word sensation without describing it.
