Guest guest
Listmates, I need help. When I start up bioexplorer one of my tracer signals (channel one electrode) is a flat line and the other (channel two electrode) seems to be working fine. Is this an electrode problem or brainmaster? It is inconsistent as it works sometimes and other times not at all. Thank youi.
Guest guest
Hi Leanne, Since it is intermittent, try using the suspect electrode in channel two for a while and see if the problem moves to CH2. -t LEANNE ANTAYA wrote: > > > Listmates, > I need help. Guest guest
You can find a nice selection of sticky and regular electrodes at:http://www.bio-medical.com/results_sup.cfm#eegsensorGood luck with your training.~PetePixxx Electrodes HiDoes anyone know where I can purchase electrodes for the pendant that use the disposable pads for the reference electrodes. I use the ear clips at the moment but feel that the diposable pads on the mastoid would give me a better connection as well as placing the ground on the neck.Cheers Tony
Guest guest
I believe you are in Australia. Is that correct, Tony? Guest guest
Hi Tony I don't find the diposable pre-gelled electrodes reliable. Sometimes give a poor signal -maybe due to the ageing of the gel and then I have to resort to neurotrodes and Ten 20. Guest guest
Hi Mark, At home I use active electrodes and impressed with the results from those. The adherence to the mastoids and neck is very good. When I used to use the ordinary electrodes I would often find if I was getting a bad signal it was altered by readjusting the ear electrode. I train a child at school and am not prepared to take the active electrode set up, so I use the conventional electrodes. I now want to move into two channel training and this child moves a lot. I feel with the disposable electrodes I will reduce the number of sync errors I get some days. Guest guest
I've never had trouble with the stick-on electrodes on the mastoid. There can be a problem if you get one of the types of adhesive that doesn't stick very well and keeps falling off, but there are several types I've used that stick very well and still come off without removing large patches of skin.
