For the record, my own doctor says to use Tylenol. I raised an eyebrow, too, but others have assured me that's just fine. Nevertheless, I don't take it for headaches or anything else for that matter. There are acupressure methods for relieving headaches (within minutes usually) that don't involve stressing my liver at all. (If anyone wants to know how, email me.) **Folks should also note that I am not taking any treatments, but have had longstanding migraine problems--now nearly nonexistant. Guest guest
Tylenol is safe if you do not exceed the recommended dosage or if you do not take it with alcohol. I chose not to take tylenol when I was on treatment because of everything I read; however, my doctor told me if I wanted to take it, I should only take half the dose that someone without hep c should take. To me, 4 tylenols in a day just wouldn't provide enough pain relief to do anything, so I took ibuprofen instead. > NEVER...NEVER ....NEVER TAKE TYLENOL AS IT IS DETRIMENTAL TO THE > LIVER !
