Ok folks, I had to delete some email, just to get to the present, but I am

finally caught up! Happy birthday to anyone I missed and welcome new people!

So I did AL2 for the first time-and it didn't kill me! i still need to work

on kicks and balance, but I was happy that I didn't have the urge to turn it

off ever...so yey!

Today was my 30th day of my 180 day fitness challenge...anyone still with me?

Have a great night everyone!

Thanks. For the first time in six years I actually celebrated my birthday.

My friends planned this surprise dinner at my favorite Italian restaurant.

It was really nice that someone finally remembered...it was the first time in

six years that my friends have remembered my birthday, so it was nice!

Not Pathetic at all Wanda!! I was gasping for air my first time too! Make

sure you pace yourself and do what you can do. Try to slowly add more of the

workout over time. Today you did 10 minutes, tomorrow try for 11. Take it

slow. Before you know it, you'll get thru the whole thing!

Okay....a question for you all....should I be mortally embarrassed that I

could only do 10 minutes of the basic tape yesterday??? This was my first

time doing the workout and that was all I could do. Sheesh! It felt good,

but when it came down to the choice of breathing or taeboing....I went for

breathing....a weakness of mine!! BUT (!!!) I did get on the treadmill right

after that and walk a half hour....

But seriously, is this pathetic or what??

Wanda

who is very sore even after 10 minutes!

Pathetic would be not pushing " play " in the first place, Wanda. You

tackled a very difficult project -- starting the Basic tape.

Congratulations for sticking out 10 minutes and then walking on the

treadmill. You will get stronger before you know it at this rate.

Don't give up. Remember, you can always push " pause " or " stop " and

walk it out and then resume taebo when you regain your breath. Plus,

you don't have to go at the same speed as everyone on the tape.

Sometimes it's easier to conquer moves by taking them at half speed

at

first.

Elena,

Excellent ideas, thank you! I didn't even think to pause or to not keep up

with " them " . See, lack of oxygen to the brain makes me NOT think straight!!

LOL

Thanks Again,

Wanda

who will NOT give up!

Wanda,

Of course you shouldn't be embarassed! Just the opposite...you

should be extremely proud of yourself! always says he doesn't

care how much of a workout you do as long as you do it strong....and

from the sound of it, you were definitely doing it strong :) Don't

be afraid to walk it out if you need to. It's ok to stop and walk it

out or get some water until you can continue. Even go ahead and push

pause and take a walk around the house until your breathing is back

to normal and then continue with the workout! Just take it slow and

try to add a little more time each day. Tomorrow shoot for 11

minutes and the next day shoot for 12 minutes and before you know it,

you'll be jumping around with your hands in the air because you just

finished the whole thing :)

Thanks, , that is what I am going to do. I will continue to walk on

the treadmill, though, until I can get the whole tape done. Man, I can

barely do this...I bet the advanced would completely kill me!! LOL

Thanks Again,

Wanda

Thanks. I get that alot actually. I joke with people that I am 22 going on

40. I had to grow up alot sooner than most my age because of things at home,

and of course getting pregnant at 19 and being a single mom at 20.

On another note, I am sort of dating a guy that I work out with. He is

almost 36...14 years older than me....what am I thinking?? But he is a lot

of fun, and we love to spend time together and we love to talk...so....who

knows...I know that this will not go anywhere, we are just enjoying the time

that we can spend together....

Well, I'm 13 years older than a. I don't know if I act her age, or she

acts mine, but we've been together for ten years.

I have always had this thing about age, but he has broken through that

barrier just because I enjoy being with him so much!
