Hello everyone, I've suffered with Fibromyalgia for over 10 years now. I'm

finding that with age it's becoming much worse. I've just moved to the Romney,

WV area and I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a doctor? I've checked the NFM

& CPA website but there are no docs in my area. I can travel to Cumberland MD

(Western MD) and Winchester VA areas. I'm on the verge of going on disability.

I never know how I'm going to feel day to day and have to call in sick at least

once a week. On another note, I have no insurance and make minimum wage. I'm

sure there are others in my situation. What do you do?

I really can't help you with doctors in that area but I want to tell you that

there are a lot of us in the same situation so if you need to chat or vent we

are all here for you. I was lucky enough to get SSDI the first time. I used a

company called Allsup. You might want to look them up and talk to them about

going on disability. Their number is . I didn't have any money and

how they worked was that they took their money from the back pay that I

recieved. As for finding doctors I suggest just getting on the phone and call

every neurologist in the area and they might be able to steer you to one.

Best of luck with you.
