Guest guest
Hi , how about eggs? I practically live off them. (I need a LOTTA protein!) And for grain you could have oatmeal or multigrain porridge with soy milk (or rice milk or no milk, I had it milkless for years, just make it a bit runnier) and Stevia for sweetness…the only natural (herbal) sweetener that has no kind of sugar in it. Or you can cook it with blueberries or other fruit if you can tolerate that. Also, have you tried a sourdough style (naturally leavened) bread, often people don’t react to these like commercial yeast. I eat one made from Spelt, a delicious/nutritious grain that doesn’t bing the wheat allergy, but cooks a lot like wheat. No good for the gluten-free crowd though. Or, that yummy unleavened Essene bread – YUMM – comes in several varieties in the health food store. No peanut butter? How about other nuts? There’s delicious almond butter, cashew butter…so there’s a few breakfast-y ideas for you. Good luck, Aylwin xox
Guest guest
Hi , I use this great protein powder (NutriBiotic Rice Protein). The only ingredients are: brown rice protein and natural flavors...contains no soy, milk, egg, yeast, corn, or wheat. I usually make a smoothie w/ cranberry juice, berries, yogurt, powder & ice in the blender. Though the juice & berries may have too much sugar for you. Maybe you can add some rice milk, soy yogurt, and a banana? We use rice or almond milk rather than soy b/c too much soy is bad for most people. However, lately I have been getting raw milk from a dairy close to me. It has enzymes in it that allow digestion for some people who cant drink milk (my son, for example, who has a dairy allergy & is on a gluten-free/casein-free diet). I did some research & the process of pasteurization & homogenization destroy the good enzymes in the milk that help us digest it. See: http://www.realmilk.com/ if you are interested. Anywhooo....I have added this powder to lots of things for my kids as well (when they were no eating enough protein. There is plain, but I like the vanilla best. The container is between $16 & $20, depending on where I get it, but there are 40 servings (you only need 1 tablespoon for 12g of protein. Hope you find some breakfasts that work for you soon! Donna > > Hi > > I am sensitive to milk, sugar , yeast and peanut butter. > > Can anyone suggest a nutritious breakfast??
