May I raise the question of mercury fillings again, which comes up from

time to time, not only for people with M.E.

If you do have them, the question really is whether you should have them

removed or leave well alone. Some people say that stirring up the

mercury while replacing them may do more harm than leaving them in situ.

One of our members has raised the question again and I have said that my

view is that expressed on a dental site

http://www.grantadental.co.uk/removing-mercury-fillings/

that you shouldn't replace these fillings unless there's clear clinical

evidence that they're either broken or leaking.

What does everyone else think?

Best wishes
