Guest guest
That would be a real corker! Teach them to mess with you! If your attorney is good, he may well be able to extract some true justice. Good Luck! Guest guest
Try to find a lawyer that will work pro bono. That way, you get the benefits of a lawyer without handing over a huge chunk if your settlement. Steve M in PA, age 21 I constantly have to go through the humality of having to go from doctor to doctor as assigned by my employer. I provided records to them from four different doctors (including one of theirs) and they stated to me that the doctors wre not " objective " enough. I have had to do a FCE (functional capacity evaluation) where they said that I couldn't work and now they are sending me to yet another doctor on Oct 19th. The last time they switched me four different times with four different doctors before one would see me. He was such a joke he didn't even have his own office he rented a office for a day from a massage clinic! AT what point do I say enough is enough and get an attourney in order to do something. My last doctor even wrote that my Fibromyalgis/CFS and Coccydynia was work related which threw another monkey wrench in the works! Can I ask them to buy me out for the next 20 years that they are on the hook for plus damages or am I taking a danger by doing so? I already live paycheck to paycheck as it is. Seeing that I was diagnosed at the Mayo Clinic I suppose isn't good enough for them.
Guest guest
I definitely would get an attorney! Sounds like they might want to have one or two of their doctors invalidate what your own doctors said. :-/ I had a similar thing happpen when I had my hearing for SSD . Fortunately, I *did* have an attorney by then so when the doctor that interviewd me for them outright *lied* I was astonished but calm and, I'm glad to say, that that doctor's report wasnt given much weight. :-) It was suggested to me that I use my former empoyer's environment in my claim, as part of what caused my ilness, and I do wish I had. (the office environment was bad news; many violations etc. ) I knew however that it would take even longer and I was without money for some time already. So chose *not* to claiim everything. If you can manage, I encourage you to get an attorney and use *everything* that has affected or contributed to your ill health. Hassles from employer I constantly have to go through the humality of having to go from doctor to doctor as assigned by my employer. Can I ask them to buy me out for the next 20 years that they are on the hook for plus damages or am I taking a danger by doing so? I already live paycheck to paycheck as it is.
