Guest guest
Twuffy, You made remarkable claims about lifestyle changes that put your Fibro into remission. While it almost sounds like an ad for a new product, your story holds a great deal of promise. The story also generates countless questions. Is there a possibility of hearing more about you and this remarkable change. For instance: * Gender * Age at onset * Age when you changed lifestyle * What was your lifestyle prior to fibro? * How " disabled " were you by fibro? Did you have to quit working, get assistance for living, etc? * Are you currently able to work? * What motivated this change? * Where did you live prior to moving to California? * Do you only eat organic foods? * Do you use bottled water? * Where do you get all the natural products - like soaps and detergent? * Do you use appliances like dishwashers and microwaves? * What do you consider being an athlete? * Can you travel for long distances by car? Airplane? Train? I'm sure you get the idea. To make a remarkable change, if it truly puts Fibro in remission, might be enough of an incentive for many of us to change. * Is there a doctor or medical team studying your body to gain a greater understanding of Fibro? Thanks so much for an inspirational, if not hopeful, post. DeAnn
Guest guest
Hi, I'm not Twuffy, but I did it, too. I went into remission for 3 years. I put it down to removing all the lifestyle stresses that I left behind, which, to be fair, were massive, and moving to a healthy and, most importantly, laid back, environment. It is also possible that the unaccustomed sunshine (Vitamin D) had a positive mental and/or physical effect? I am convinced that my current relapse is entirely down to a combination of a new major stress factor, which, stupidly, I reacted to by abandoning my low carb gluten free diet, at the same time! Recipe for disaster! DUH! Rosemary-in-Greece. dnichels wrote: > Twuffy, > > You made remarkable claims about lifestyle changes that put your > Fibro into remission.
