Guest guest
Dear , That's good advice, . I'm such a lightweight that I usually need the lowest dose of everything. I haven't ever taken any drugs for my EN, and I don't want to have to start, but I wondered if there were any smokers in the group to get more anecdotal evidence for the nicotine patch. Right now I'm enjoying a nice remission, and so far I am able to go into remissions without any drug assistance...still I would love to get a clinical trial done by a professional researcher on the nicotine patch. To do it right it would have to be " double blind " so the researcher and subjects wouldn't know who was getting the active ingredient and who was getting the placebo. It would be such a simple experiment and could yield some interesting results. If I ever find a researcher, I will suggest this to him/her. It would be such an inexpensive experiment too. I recently wrote to a doctor who published an article in the NY Times on EN and Sarcodosis, but haven't gotten an answer from her yet. If I do, I will make my suggestion. I keep trying to further research on EN. I know if I keep at it I will hit pay dirt some day! Love,
