Spring is upon us and it is that time of year again for our 6th annual Tag

Days fundraiser. This is our second largest fundraiser and we need you to

make it successful. Proceeds from this event will help fund biomedical autism

research, which is still much too low.

For those that have never " Tagged " before, I will explain. A volunteer

(hopefully you and many others you bring with) wears a bright colored vest and

collects a donation from motorists at strategic intersections in Schaumburg and

Palatine. You then hand out candy and a " card " , which states what autism is

and The BHARE Foundation web address to get more information. It is a lot

of fun, you get some great exercise, and you feel great knowing that you are

helping to both increase awareness as well as fund research. The more people

that sign up the more money we can send to fund research. It is that simple.

You also will receive a " gift " for helping.

Friday May 6th 8-11, 11-2, 3-6

Saturday May 7th 9-12, 12-3 Times are flexible. For example Sat.

you could do 10-1 or 11-2, etc., or simply two hours total if that is what you

can fit in. Or some people sign up for more than one shift!

Intersections in Schaumburg include Schaumburg and Barrington, Roselle and

Wise, Roselle and Schaumburg, Golf and Meacham, Golf and Roselle, 53 and

Higgins.

In Palatine thus far we have Dundee and Hicks and Colfax and Plum Grove. We

can add more if we get more people. You must be at least 16 years old to

Tag.

You have a choice of gift. You can receive a T-shirt (s,m,l,xl), an autism

pin, or a BHARE Foundation water bottle. Please specify size if you want a

shirt. Reply with an e-mail or call to sign up, and yes we need

your friends to help as well. Let us know also if you have a preferred

corner you want to tag at.

Thank you !!!
