I had mine removed 2 at a time; right side then left side. I don't know much about human thyroid problems. One of my furbabies had an enlarged thyroid. Good luck Tuesday. LOL but I KNOW there is drops he can get from his ostomy nurse..the drops somehow neutralize the smell almost immediately. It is not a spray..it should not cause issues for you. Please have him ask the dr or whoever takes care of his ostomy needs! Anita UHHMy son who has an ostomy just emptied his pouch, his bathroom is rightacross the hall from the flipping a/c intake vent, well that horrible smellof a septic tank had made it's way throughout the entire house! I'm downhere with the daycare children and he proceeds to start using a can of spraymess, now I can't take in a deep breath due to the darn spray he used! UHH!I am going to pop a knot on his hard head one of these days! OMG Just whenI'd told the dr I was with today that everything was going great, and now Ihave dropped numbers and have to use the meds!!!!!!! I'm going to thow outevery last one of those darn spray cans.Terry I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I did my own research, We've dealt with ostomies since the day he was born, he now has an Ileostomy and has ONLY 2 feet of intestine in his body yes I said "2" feet. so tell me what I'm looking for, it's about time for another order from the supplier I'll get them to put those in our order.
