cough that wont go away ;(

hello everyone, i hope this finds everyone in good health.

i was diagnosed with asthma early 2007, and since then my major

problem has been coughing that never ends. My only relief is when my

doctor puts me on a course of prednisone.

i had chest xray twice within the last 18 months, it was all clear. in

our quest to get to the bottom of this, my pulmonologist sent me to an

allery specialist, didnt find anything there either. He sent me to a

sinus doctor and my ct scan showed inflammation and nasal polyps, i

went through a sinus surgery on dec 5th, got off prednisone 2 1/2

weeks ago and already im starting to cough again.

i have another doctors appointment with my asthma and sinus doctor on

monday. but ive thought about posting here to see if there's anyone

out there going through or had gone through the same situation and was

wondering if you had found any relief
