I found my Chinese herbalists by talking with people I know who have had graves or hashimoto's disease who see acupuncturists. My endo told me to find a practitioner of Chinese medicine (acupuncture and HERBS, very important that they know about and use herbs) who specializes in autoimmune diseases. You might check with a Gay and Lesbian Center in SF. My practitioner treats HIV/AIDS patients as well as patients with thyroid autoimmune diseases. She is Chinese and studied in China. She comes from a long line of doctors in China. Personally I think this could be important.
