Guest guest
Hi, you are not alone with a nasty chest cold, and gunghy(?) cough. I was lucky enough to go for a four day break to Florida over Christmas, and brought back great memories but a horrible cold. I guess when your body is aclimatized to snow, snow and MORE snow (Im in Ontario) sitting on the beach on Christmas Day, the temps in the 80's, one can't expect to get away without some kind of payback, and boy am I paying now! My asthma has been under pretty good control, but I'm starting to struggle as this cold drags on with no end in sight. The Doc didn't want to give me any extra meds when I went to see him, but I think I may have to go back, I find it really hard to get any sleep, as soon as I try to lie down or sit back against the pillows I start to cough like crazy and cough up loads of grunge. I try not to disturb darling hubby and spend most of the night in the washroom, hacking away like some old dear on 4 packs a day! I've taken every cold remedy out there, had my head over a bowl of steaming Vick's, I'm on my sixth box of Kleenex, and getting very territorial about it, come near my box and I growl... and I sound like a crow on crack when I page anyone at work, yeah, I've only missed one day so far. Anyone got any idea how long Florida germs last? I'd have thought one look at the seven foot snow heap at the front of our house would have been enough to scare them back south again straight away! Happy New Year to everyone by the way from Up North
Guest guest
Chances are you were already well exposed before you went to Florida. My mom lives in Rochester, NY and shes been sick since before Christmas. Lost her voice and all. Every time she starts feeling better, she gets sick again...of course, she doesnt stay home and rest and she also has Lupus. Seriously though, Florida germs dont last any longer or shorter than any other germs. A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above. See yours in just 2 easy steps!
