Thanks for the update, I have been dealing with sick children so I haven't been on much.

Please let us know what you find out.

Hugs,

The right lobe was 10x larger than normal and the left side was 4x larger. He said the papillary (SP?) was very small, about 7 mm. wide, I guess, and of course, we have no way to know if it was just beginning.....and could have grown, or if it would have stayed that way until I was 80.....He said he's going to call my endo. this afternoon and then tomorrow morning I have to have blood checked to check my calcium and my thyroid levels, because this past week my fingers and toes have been as cold as ice cubes....wish me luck!--

...good luck sweetie, hope everything turns out fine. Me, I've

been trying to deal with living on .25 mcg of levoxyl. Did NOT stop

taking it drastically like the endo told me to and after about two

weeks, I'm starting to get tired again, my glands are swelling back up

to the size they were before, and it's been really hard to get all

this stuff done after getting married and changing my last name, ya

know driver's license, ss card, car insurance, etc.

I've seen there's been quite a few articles in the " women's " magazines

about thyroid problems but haven't read anything I don't already know

yet.

Y'all take care,

Debbie

I'm glad the cancer was removed, , keep us posted. How are you

feeling otherwise -- swallowing and breathing better I hope?

I got a cold after wearing myself out this weekend. It's weird how I

almost never get colds any more now that I have Hashis... but when I

do I just feel strange, I don't know how to describe it. A similar but

much more drastic experience with this feeling happened when I was

first diagnosed, went into the hospital.. I felt like my immune system

was on a total rollercoaster -- my symptoms would flare up so badly

one minute I could hardly breathe.. then an hour later they would

subside almost completely. Anyone else experience weird stuff with

colds/flu?

I'm so glad you had the cancer removed and you're getting healthy! Do you have to have any other treatments (radiation?) Thanks for keeping us updated.

Good luck with the endo.

It's really funny you should mention that, because I was just

thinking about it today. I've got the beginning of a cold, which

seems to happen a lot, but then it's like I just kick them really

easily. For a day or so I'll have a sore throat and feel really

draggy and tired (like right now, I should be at the gym but guess

where I am?). But then it will just go away. It's been like this

since I've had Hashi's as well. Hardly ever get the flu or anything,

even when all my kids get sick.

Yes! That's exactly what happens to me... I think this time the only

reason I actually got a bad cold was because I totally wore myself

down this past weekend -- lots of stress, very little sleep, which

hasn't happened in a long time. I felt terrible and even had a bit of

a temperature on day 1 (Monday), now after sleeping 11 hours (finally)

last night, I have just a little sinus stuffiness. So maybe we have

one advantage because of this disease! I think others on here have

said they actually get colds more often now though..?
