yes, well done.

I really got upset when I read this " Angry " paragraph. Most of the time

parents of normal children pitch more fits than we do because so many of them

truly spoil their children. For instance a father gives his son and knife or

gun for a present (birthday or xmas) and when the son takes it to school and

get's in trouble instead of busting the child's butt because they did wrong

and know better, they jump down the school's throat. If a special needs child

gets in trouble most often the parents here are very strict and tough on the

child. We as parents of special needs children are usually stronger because

we know we have to be or our children may not learn right from wrong.

Didn't Hitler also have the same message? With autism rates soaring

we'll be everywhere in every home. Does he recommend institutions

(ie..concentration camps) this is a dangerous line of thinking. Short of

calling him a Nazi I have yet to come up with what else to say. I don't

think I can be effective, have you written yet? Trina

Re: Opinion piece

He probably enjoys upsetting those of us out here whose child drains the

public education dollars from those " more worthy " . He as much as said

that. He sounds very sure of himself so probably isn't alone. He is

probably one of many that we will soon here from. We never hear

complaints about the funds set aside for sports.

I am afraid I was too angry yesterday to be effective,

This man IS the reason why it's vital that NT kids and special ed kids need to

interact more in any way that they can--especially in their early years. He

obviously had no dealing whatsoever with any special needs kids in

school--perhaps if he had, he would not have become the mean-spirited, closed

minded, bigoted individual that he is. I only wish he could see the NT kids

who have befriended my son, Joe, over the years, who is only partially

mainstreamed. They don't appear to be " suffering " in any way, shape, or

form--in fact, you can clearly see how Joe has enriched their lives. In my

opinion, these kids will make up a society that I would be PROUD of-- a society

of people who believe in the worth and dignity of EVERY person, no matter how

different they may be from the " norm " ....and hopefully avoid becoming the kind

of person that Mr. Lonsberry has become.

Good Morning to all!!! Well, I'm sorry to ask this

little question but remember some person's feel like

sometinmes they only have a small pea brain. So,

My little pea brain would like to know WHO DIED AND MADE THIS PERSON KING?

That would

make " IT " feel like someone really wants to hear this

opinion, expecially when it sounds like it is in left field,

and maybe very over whelmed? If I might make a

suggestion for what its worth Keep your off beat

opinions to your off beat self since they really are

no help nor very supportive of what most parents

are trying to do.Which in case your at a lost is

to help thier child achieve to the highest potiential

possible and the goal is to make them independent

with all the hopes, cares, faith possible....

Good luck to all, Keep up the good work and don't

let uneducated, scrooge want to be destroy your

faith, hopes and dreams only you can reach the

goals on what's best for your child and your family!!!

My best to All,

A
