I have heard katie say something like ~ there is no such thing as memory, only

the thought arising in this moment.

only knew about her past

own? When I had my mini-awakening, I still knew about my past in a

vague sort of way, but as if it had happened to another person

entirely.

Another thought about this. often speaks about things that appear to have

occured in the past, she speaks during interviews etc, quite extensively about

experiences that have occured in the 'past'. My understanding of this is that

she simply didn't hold the same concepts anymore...no seperation, no seperate

other. For me, it wasn't a matter of losing her memory, it was a matter of

losing identification with concepts..which is what husband, daughter, son, sky,

moon, and every other label are.

Cheers,

I have heard say something like:

" Tami, come to me after my last lecture (at the school)

and you could have a picture with me " .

I trusted her word, came to her after her last lecture

but she was gone.

So, I wouldn't trust a word this women say's

she is like me: living the moment, and has no past.

isn't it great that it's not necessary to trust anyone else's word to be

happy....

You and have one thing in common, C

(I am not sure about the good part)

I think 's understanding is close to mine when she said " it

wasn't a matter of losing her memory, it was a matter of

losing identification with concepts. " And Memory is just another

concept that she no longer believes.

So, 's question about " did get her memory back " really

has no relevance. It is not a matter of having a memory or not

having a memory, but it is knowing that thoughts are not true. Like

any true awakening, it really can not be discussed within the

framework of the illusion.
