Guest guest
Listmates, We're trying to make a final decision about going to see Aguilar about for FGF. Does anyone know what the total price tag will be approximately for this therapy, and how long it will go on for (1-2 years?) Also what happens at the first appointment? ...Basically can someone explain the whole routine one goes through? EEG...? etc. Thanks very much, Chris

Guest guest
Hey This is Dennis Colannino. We are taking Adam (2.5 yrs old) to see Dr. Aguilar this Friday (April 27th) in Guadalajara. My step mom is a retired psychiatrist who has been in touch with Dr. Amy Holmes and she highly recommended seeing Dr. Aguilar. Dr. Holmes said that Aguilar is a top notch neurologist and has done many wonderful things with FGF2 including repairing areas of the brain damaged by mercury. Kids that benefit most are between ages 3 - 8. The total cost is $2455 (not including airfare and hotel) and includes the following: (keep in mind that the cost may change as they get new equipment, etc.) IINEDEC Instituto de Investigaciones en Neuroplasticidad y Desarrollo Celular A.C. Guest guest
, FGF-2 is fibroblast growth factor. This is a protein that is very involved in neural development. People make it in large amounts during the last couple months of gestation and into the first year of life. We continue to make it in small amounts I think throughout our lives. The stuff that Aguilar is using is bovine derived. It has a pretty good (long?) usage for helping repair brain damage. There apppears to be some very good success in autism and also in other brain damage applications. The risks appear to be minimal. Apparently it is licensed in Mexico, (parts of?) Europe, and Japan, but not yet in the US. Aguilar's web site is www.iinedec.org. However I just went to this site and not much came up-looked like it was under serious construction. Amy Holmes has used this therapy on her son for somewhere in the vicinity of one to two years. Definately something to check out.... Phil Reynosa the US rep for Dr. Aguilar told me about them. Re: [ ] Costs, etc. with FGF-2 & Dr. Aguilar , FGF-2 is fibroblast growth factor. Guest guest
So perhaps mercury, other toxins, vaccines cause the bodies of some to stop making this properly... S On Tue, 24 April 2001, " G.
