I'm Steve Kessler in sonville, Louisiana. sonville is in rural

south central Louisiana.

Yes, I am a raw milk consumer (in season) having found a local farmer

willing to discreetly milk his 2 cows. It ain't legal in LA.

Most of what I learned about raw milk I learned from the Wm

book, " The Milk Book. " I interested a few friends and we buy up

everything the 2 cows will produce.

Our problem has been that the milk is only available until around October

each year. We're still trying to find another source in a state where even

individual farmers cannot legally sell you milk. We are looking into a

cow-share idea. The last few years from October to May we have been unable

to find local raw milk. The cost of shipping it is prohibitive so out of

state sources are not practical.

The politics of pasteurization is what interests me as much as the health

benefits. I have studied the political science of medicine, sometimes

erroneously called " health care, " for more than 30 years. Very little

surprises me anymore, but I thoroughly enjoyed Dr. ' book. I hope

to meet others with similar interests.

Steve--

That Dr. s is a Hoot! I cannot believe that men can breastfeed, but he says with a certain herb they can..... That really floored me. And the part about Immunotherapy brought home why milk is such an important food. I think there is a place for all of his ideas, if you can just get past the Shock....lol.
