My name is Meighen, and I work for the Federal Government in Vancouver, British Columbia. I'm 57, on my own for several years, have two adult children, and I'll become a grandmother in August (which I'm very excited about).

I've been a big fan of the Weston Price site for several years, have bought locally-grown grass-fed beef and lamb, and prefer to buy organic fruit and vegetables mostly.

I understand that raw milk is available in this area, but for the time being it seems inconvenient to get it. So, for now, I've been buying raw milk cheese for quite awhile. I also buy organic yogurt, and someday I'd like to make my own from raw milk.

I subscribe to a couple of other e-mail lists (Beyond Price and Paleofood), and I'm mainly a lurker - I like to read what interests others, and I often learn interesting things from them.
