Firstly please do not take what I am about to say in a negative light ok?

Promise? I want to assure you that I am not anti-Christian nor anti-God and I

respect you for your beliefs.

There are some here who find overtly religious postings uncomfortable. Please

keep in mind that not every religion necessarily agrees with what you believe

and some may find it a very sensitive issue probably best left to private

emailings. I am certain that the last thing everyone wants is for anyone to feel

uncomfortable here. I'm also certain that you're well aware that a nasty thread

of flame could ignite if we aren't all very careful. I know that's not what you

want.

Please understand that I am not trying to stymie your freedom of religion. I'm

simply asking everyone to be aware of others sensitivities and keep religious

chat to private email please.

Please note that I was just trying to do my best at offering spiritual

comfort in a manner I have found most useful for the problems we all share. I

was

sharing relevant Bible verses toward that end. That in no way constitutes

" preaching " ( which in many circles these days consists of the mere mention of

God,

particularly in a Christian context) or does it involve " throwing " bible verses

at anyone as I firmly believe that the Word of God is too precious to be

" thrown " around and too precious not to be shared in truth and in love. You

brought those concepts into the discussion, which is your absolute right and I

take

no offense, I merely disagree with that point of view. Incidentally, you may

want to take note of the fact that I was thanked for my efforts by more than

one person ... which just goes to show that we are blessed with a divergence of

opinion here. Peace.
