Guest guest
Yes Aylin, I know that oh so well, the red tongue. It hurts like heck. Choraseptic became my best friend. Also when your relative brush their teeth have them rinse with good old Hydrogen Pexoride. Believe me it helped so much. I avoided spicy food all together, and to this day I still can't eat my favorite spicy mexican entrees. I love all those wonderful dishes but have to ask for them to be made mild. No more chili peppers for me. Good dental hygiene is the key. Brush your teeth, floss and get one of those tongue scrapers. Because the treatment causes a little coat to grow upon your tongue. Yucky to say the least. Make sure to clean your toothbrush, and tongue scraper throughly. I would make a weak bleach solution, then soak the head of toothbrush, and tongue scraper for a few minutes, then rinse with plenty of fresh water. I would rinse for a min. of 3 mins under running water. ***Warning*** do not rinse your mouth with the bleach solution******** I know that you might say why did she put in the warning. Well some folks just skim the emails and they see the bleach solution recipe and then they say " Oh,Janet said it was okay to rinse with bleach " Nope folks that could cause burns in the mouth, and is a poison to the system. Or better yet rinse with a anti-bacteria soap, and rinse well with fresh water. And if the condition gets bad, have her mention to her or his doctor and there is a oral medication that can be applied to the tongue.
