Guest guest
I took them last year. It really helped me. The only problem occurred with my insurance, but other than that, the actual injections were fine. In fact, I didn't need any other meds during that time. Anyone receiving Xolair injections? I am getting a blood test done to see if I need this medication. Autumn -- " Don't worry about tomorrow. It will take care of itself. You have enough to worry about today. Guest guest
Why wouldn't xolair do you any good?Bernie Schnitker wrote: I asked my copd doctor about Xolair he said it would not do me any good and I do have asthma. Yet, I do qualify for it after I have taken the blood test. What does Xolair do when one is taking the injections, how long must one stay on it. Does Xolair actually help the breathing or what. i need some input here if someone can tell me. Also, why my doctor would not think it would do me any good. Sometimes, doctors do not know best and one must try it to find out, am I right or wrong. My name is Bernie
Guest guest
My understanding from my pulmonologist is that xolair is only really effective in a small number of patients whose Ieeg count is within a certain range. Even if your count is high enough to qualify for the medicine, it may not fall into that magic range. My count is on the high end of that range, but I test negative to all common allergies. So, I am not really an ideal candidate either. I haven't been on it long enough to tell if it is going to help yet. This can be so confusing!
