<<<<Thyroid Assessment" blood panel from Great Smokies Diagnostic Laboratory (www.gsdl.com <http://www.womentowomen.com/LIBhypothyroidism.asp?id=1 & campaignno=thyroidcontentmatch & adgroup=adgroup1 & keywords=thyroid+content+match#>). We highly recommend this panel; you can ask if your practitioner is familiar with it, or find a practitioner who is.>>>>

If I am interpreting this site correctly, peri/menopause can trigger hypot. I did request that I was tested for peri/menopause at the same time I got my thyroid pannel. I was concerned d/t hystorectomy as a result of my post partum hemorage that it was an issue. I was not either peri/or menopausal. Safe there.
