Guest guest
Hi all, First I would like to wish each and all a very happy new year. My question is in regards to Kombocha tea--probably spelled wrong but here is the question. What ailments are supposedly helped by drinking kombocha tea? All comments welcomed. Guest guest
It is called kombucha, not kombocha. The thing I know is that long-term consumption helps in preventing cancer(it is acidic, pH about 3.0). Another thing may be multiple sclerosis. Caution: It interferes with antibiotic intake. The daily amount? Unknown, perhaps a cup or two a day. Start low, an ounce a day, then work up (it way not agree with you). It is self-perpetuating, in that it forms a new growth every time it " brews " , which you use to start the next batch. It raises blood sugar so being diabetic complicates things. You can brew it to your taste, sweet, fizzy, or tart. You do not heat it up to drink. There is an email group for it; see yahoo. Hope this helps.
