Guest guest
Hi AllI am new to this group and I have a question for all of you.My fiance has Asthma problem and talking to her I found that her Asthma triggers are sudden weather change and pollution. Right now she is residing in Delhi, India where current temperature variation is from 52 F in morning to 37 F in evening. She is having a tough time in Delhi as there is no centrally heated houses in Delhi and the pollution is to its height. Now, she is coming to meet me in January 2009. I myself live in Chicago, USA. The pollution here is very minimal compared to what it is in Delhi, India but I the weather here is on the other exxtreme. Since here I have a centrally heated house, temperature inside the house is 70 F but outside the house it drops to -12 F to -20 F. Yes, its in minus outside and I have a concern for her as this will be a drastic weather change for her as she moves from inside the house to outside the house. I have a concern about how shall I prepare myself and prepare her for it.I was reading online and found about using masks to make the breathing air warmer, but didn't find any convincing testimonials for it. I would really appreciate if someone who is living in such environment can give me his/her personal advice on it.Thanks and RegardsMayank Minglani
