Guest guest
Reunions are special events. it creates a sense of expectancy, making one excited like a child. Everybody goes back with new memories. 1979 Batch had a reunion in 2003. It is obviously silly to discuss something that happened so long ago. So it is definitely not about that reunion. We met once again. Yes, our batch had another reunion on 5/6 Nov. It was decided the last time that we would meet again. The idea was appealing but not without some skepticism. but ultimately our spirit brought us together. Sudarshan Tomar's commitment and affability convinced so many of us to be there. He was ably supported by others in and around Delhi. it was so nice to see people from other batches participate actively. it was glad to meet the guys. Some of them had not been seen for 20-25 years. There was a lot of hungama. Avinash Wagh was there to capture the mood in his inimitable style. His rendering of ' Hungama hai kyon burpa, thodi so jo pee lee hai...' was beautiful. Before long it was time for us to depart. Then I realised there was so much to talk about. Anyway, the reunion had to come to an end, so it did. However, the idea about the next reunion was already taking shape. If that happens, it would be a re-re-reunion.
