Sheila,

If I was in that situation and had little money, I

would definitely follow the Gerson program which

includes a strictly organic fruit and vegetable diet

and mass quantities of organic vegetable/wheatgrass

juices. I would also do some juice fasting. You can

check out their site at http://www.gerson.org.

Thank you Bob. I don't know why I didn't think of Budwig earlier. Not sure

she can keep anything down. This gallbladder thing is bad, and actually

might keep her from digesting food properly. The email is on the way.

None of us can make the decisions for them. Sheila

Sheila, here is response from a friend whose lung cancer was cured with

protocols.:

I have found that the treatment and even cure for the lung cancer {as in

my

own case} is not covered by insurance and is not expensive at all unless

a

dental cleanup is needed. www.drclark.net is worth every minute a sick

person or care-person can spend gathering free information on how to kill

cancer and return to health.

I do receive the Rife emails, but am not a posting member at this time.

Just

do not have the time required for all of the above.

Do not despair - cancer no longer is a death sentence. You can read many

testimonials on Dr 's website regarding how to find a new life.

Cordially, Ellen aka MEJ

Best wishes, BT.

Hi Sheila,

I had cancer myself; I was diagnosed three years ago with an incurable

cancer, six months to live and nothing that could be done in the way of

conventional treatment (lucky me!).

I'm still here, well and happy.

I have investigated a lot the alternative treatments and if I were your

friend I'd put together some of them, really unexpensive.

.. ESSIAC tea (It's quite unexpensive if you buy the herbs and prepare it

yourself; if you need a recipe, I can give you the one that I have been

using myself)

.. flaxseed oil & quark

.. apricot kernels

I have been using all of them, plus for a while Hulda 's protocol,

eating organic, juicing and meditating.

The most important thing for me, however, was to change the things in my

life and in my attitude that were really making me sick, resentment,

negativity, stagnation...

Good luck to your friend, blessings,

Enrica

Since this is something that would be of interest to other people,

could you post the recipe to the mailing-list?

If there are no hard stones in the gallblader then she could

start doing liver flushes to clear out the soft stones,

using Hulda 's protocol. (Someone else mentioned

the website URL where you can find her protocols.)

Someone else mentioned the Budwig flaxseed/creamcheese protocol.

No one seems to have mentioned blood electrification,

which can be inexpensive if you make the device(s) yourself:

There are plenty of places online that give the recipe.

Do a google search on " essiac recipe. " Caisse's Herbal

Tea used to be widely available and inexpensive at

around $10 for a bag of the herbs, ready to make tea.

They took the Flora route, though, and started charging

way more than it was worth, and I have not seen

it around lately. At least they didn't make modifications

to the formula like Flora did and state that it was the

original formula when it was not (the same thing Flora

did with Treben's Swedish bitters recipe.)

What works a *lot* better than essiac is Treben's

herb tea which is equal amounts of yarrow, calendula,

and echinacea (ideally use equal parts of

angustofolia root and purpurea tops.) This has

much stronger antiseptic, immune stimulating, and

cleansing action and works reliably, unlike essiac. The

best inexpensive cancer plan I have found is to use this

tea with a regimen of IP-6 and The Water Cure.

The tea should be used 4 - 6 cups per day for serious

chronic illness like cancer. Unlike

essiac, however, it is very bitter. Lemon improves

the flavor. Don't drink a whole cup in one gulp

since the yarrow is astringent. Start with 2 cups of

half strength tea per day and work up. It can cause

profound circulation stimulation and sweating the

first time it is used.

This tea also works reliably for almost every infectious

acute and chronic illness, including being the best

remedy for colds, flu, sinus problems, etc. Once you

get past the taste, it is an amazing remedy. Honey

can be added and in large amounts along with lemon

juice and the taste is not bad, plus this improves

the action against respiratory and sinus complaints.

The ESSIAC recipe that I use is from Glum's formula, that I found in

Internet at the address http://www.sumeria.net/health/essiac.html.

The original formula utilizes cups, ounces and gallons and I have worked out

the correspondent quantities in litres and grams.

This is the resulting recipe:

Essiac Formula for 1.9 liters of water – it makes about 1.4 liters of essiac

tea

Burdock root 20g

Sheep Sorrel 11g

Slippery Helm 3g

Turkish Rhubarb 2g

Supplies Needed

Sodium free water 1.9 liters

Three 500ml amber glass bottles with plastic caps

Stainless steel fine mesh double strainer. A “V” shaped strainer is best.

Stainless steel funnel

Stainless steel spatula or spoon

3 stainless steel pots

Procedure:

Starting sometimes in the evening

1. Mix Essiac herbs thoroughly.

2. Bring water to a rolling boil with lid on.

3. Stir in the herbs. Replace the lid and continue boiling for 10

minutes.

4. Turn off the stove. Scrape the down sides of the pot and stir

mixture thoroughly. Replace the lid.

5. Allow the pot to remain close overnight.

In the morning

1. In another pot sterilize the strainer, the funnel and the spoon

in boiling water.

2. Turn on the heat and bring the tea just up to the boil.

3. Strain the tea into another pot and bring up to the boil again.

4. In the meantime sterilize the bottles that have been already

washed. Add about 1ounce of sodium free water to each bottle,

putting on plastic caps loosely, and microwave them for about

15 minutes until the steam has sterilized the caps and bottles.

Use a mitt or a potholder to take the bottles out of the oven!

5. Pour the hot liquid into the bottles immediately, using the

sterilized funnel. Screw on the caps.

6. Allow bottles to cool then tighten the caps again.

7. Refrigerate.

Direction for use

1. Heat 60 ml sodium free water.

2. Add 60 ml of Essiac (shake the bottle first). Mix and drink.

Take twice a day, at bedtime, at least 2 hours after eating, and first thing

in the morning.

An " un-ortodox " (and more simple) way of making the tea is to mix the herbs

(the same quantities as above), process them to a coarse powder, then make a

tea every night with 300 ml of water and 1/2 a tablespoon of herbs. Boil for

ten minutes, let it cool, strain and take half at bedtime and half in the

morning.

I would suggest that you find a good supplier of organic herbs.
