>>...there is an herbal which is used to cleanse the liver.<<

Just a general, cautionary note - it's best to be careful with herbal

remedies. I'm not sure what it's like in the States, but up here in

Canada herbal remedies are currently completely unregulated (there's

a law in the works to change this). This means that the facilities

that the herbal remedy is prepared in could be unhygenic; the

concentration of active ingredient listed on the label could be

completely different from what's actually inside; and there could be

all kinds of unlisted ingredients in the product. I used to be a

pharmacist (when I could still work), and every year we would get

notices from Health Canada telling us to warn people because such and

such an herbal remedy contained carcinogens, or high amounts of lead,

or unlisted prescription drugs such as corticosteroids, or something

along those lines.

Not to say that all herbal products are bad. You just have to be

careful. Make sure that the company who makes it is a reputable one,

and always tell your doctor what you are taking. Most of us are

taking a lot of different prescription drugs, and no one knows what

interactions there could be with herbal products.

Hope everybody's dealing with the holiday stresses OK...

I have 4 cats and none have ever gotten on my counters or table they are extremely great cats. I am a vet tech and if one was to start that I would use a spray bottle full of water and spray them they hate it. Cats that are allowed to do these things will continue! They love heights in the first place that is why they like to jump up on things I have provided mine with a table for them to lay on and look out the big picture window in the living roomDonna ACS> >> >> > They are gross, but once seen and passed, one quickly becomes> a believer> > in liver cleansing.
