Guest guest
I have only ever made cremes and lotions with oils, butters, stearic acid and e-wax, and have just learned how to make liquid soap so I intend to start making gels, bubble bath, etc. - I've just received some samples from Ajinomoto and have them lined up, not really knowing where to go from here. I have Amisoft CK-11(F), inci: Potassium Cocoyl Glutamate, in flake form and Amisoft CS-11, inci: Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, in a powder. I'm guessing I'll find recipes somewhere online for using either or both, but how do I turn them into liquid form or is it even necessary to liquify them first? The Amisoft CT-12S,inci: TEA Cocoyl Glutamate, is liquid. I also have a couple of humectants - Prodew 200 which is made up of Sodium PCA, Proline, Sodium Lactate, Sorbitol, Hydrolyzed Collagen and water and Amidew, inci: Sodium PCA, which I don't think I have any questions about but may come up with some later. I also got a sample of Amisoap which is composed of Coconut acid, Arginine, Potassium Hydroxide and water - so I guess it's regular soap but I'm wondering if it stands alone as soap or used to enhance products using soap such as bubbling bath salts, salt scrubs, etc. I've gleaned so much valuable information from this list as a long time lurker, for which I thank all of you. I unsuccessfully searched the archives for answers before asking my questions and hope I plugged in the right words to search for so I don't end up rehashing info that's been given before. Amazing how a few bottles and bags of new stuff can bring me to a standstill. Lorraine Aho The Chandlery Snowbound Soap > Ajinomoto <http://www.ajichem.com> make very good and expensive products. I've never worked with any of their surfactants because of cost.

Guest guest
I not only tried the website (actually, they have several), I went through a bunch of their links and didn't get any answers. Thanks, Maurice, for contact info on a real, live person. Maybe I threw out contact info with the packing materials - it seemed odd that they'd send samples without giving the name of someone specific to get back to. Many thanks. lorraine > Hi Lorraine, > > Have you tried the Ajinomoto website? > http://www.ajichem.com/ > > Otherwise, you should contact:
