Curious to hear if you got the results back yet.

Well I finally got the results back.

" There was no change. "

That's what my endo had to say. That means the pituitary is still

enlarged and still has a little spot on it.

At least it's not worse or anything. My bloodwork indicates that

things are moving in a positive direction. I guess I just have to

keep taking the medicine for a while longer before I see a change in

the big picture.

If the results came back that things had changed for the better I

would've been able to wait another year before getting another MRI.

But since there's no change I have to go in 6 months. *sigh*

Is this fairly typical? Do you all go get MRI's?

Thanks for asking Miaja. :o)

Hi, Jayna -- I have never gotten an MRI. What

was your endo's thinking in doing that? Is that

the way s/he found out you have a small growth

on your pituitary? Or were there other symptoms?

Ah, I see... I had heard of that, prolactin troubles.

I've also read, by the way, those growths are

amazingly not that hard to remove, should by some

chance you have to go through that or a biopsy....

they do not need to go through your skull, they just

go through a nostril! Amazing!
