Congrats. we were told that the best day of our life would be when we join

internship, and the worst would be when we finish it.

Dear SP ,

Heartiest congratulations to Amrita!

It is indeed a great pleasure to watch the children grow and to attain " Dr "

before the name.Amrita was lucky to have the best of both the worlds,Ghar ka

khana and hostel at the same place (what my daughter Aditi misses the most!).Her

efforts are to be lauded ,attaining a first in the batch is Great !

Dear friends,

Eight weeks ago, students from the batch of 2007 took their final MBBS

practical examination. They were eagerly awaiting their results since. A

week ago, the Nashik Medical University finally revealed what they were

upto.

Of the 55 students who took exam, 50 passed. An unusually good result? Not

really.Because these days the odds are very low that an average medical

student would fail. Amrita, my daughter and a MGIMS student, also

succeeded. She now proudly displays a prefix, “Dr†before her name.

Bhavana and I are happy to share with you that Amrita obtained top rank in

her class- number one in Medicine, Surgery and Pediatrics and second in Ob

Gy.

We indeed are pleased and would like to thank everyone who helped Amrita

acquire clinical skills and knowledge during her student days. Now Amrita

will soon discover what internship is all about- filling the forms,

obtaining blood samples, measuring blood pressure and running errands!
