Guest guest
Thank you all for your warm welcome, I am happy to be here! Rena, in response to your question about how long raw milk will keep, we get ours weekly, and it certainly last for one week, and I suspect it might last longer (refrigerated). It also freezes well, so you might want to consider getting a month's worth and freezing it. -ellie
Guest guest
> I guess just PH milk? I was going to write > " conventional " > milk, but I recently heard an interview with > Steingraber discussing " conventional " versus > organic farming, and someone asked why we use the > term " conventional " for pesticide-ridden agriculture, > when for 10,000 years " conventional " has meant > organic!!! Excellent point! Also consider the term " conventional oven " to refer to those ovens which cook using heat, instead of microwave ovens. The conventional variety has been around a lot longer than microwave ovens. How about " contravention " or " contraventional " (is that a word?) to describe organic farming? " Contra " = against the norm, with the root word being " vent " = ways or means or route. Just a thought. ) ~Joe
