Guest guest
Only one comment re IPL- whenever I watch Nita Ambani- I am jealous. She looks so well maintained- imagine pedicures and manicures whenever u feel like it, massages, personal trainers et al. Cannot be a very difficult life! Malini Re: Re: IPL anybody....... Well, I am just amazed at the revenue that IPL has generated and why not? I think its so good for the economy... plus will boost travel and tourism. I like IPL because the games are total 100% entertainment... and in India, thats the best form of primetime entertainment. Also, the series have done a whole world of good for new upcoming players for team India. If it was not for IPL , who would have known Saurabh Tiwary or Manish Pandey who have been in such terrific form? It gives these new players a chance to play alongside great names like Tendulkar, Warne, Kallis, Gillchrist, and Hayden to name a few... The games are fast paced and there is not a dull moment ever in the games. I bet, even a " non-believer " would have been converted watching the " super over " between Chennai and Punjab this Sunday... Its exciting to watch the crowds.. so enthusiastic, all the music, everybody waving team flags, dressed in team colors, holding all kinds of funny signs. Also its great to watch Sivamani drumming during every Chennai game.. or all the " Ganpati " procession drummers do their thing dressed in blue turbans for Mumbai home games... it's just amazing... By the way, some thoughts on the " owners " now.. if I see the Shetty sisters one more time on TV, I am going to scream.... they are so artificial and so annoying. Nita Ambani has lost a bunch of weight and now she is the " thin " Ambani bahu as the once beautiful and glamorous Tina is the " fat " one, however I seriously doubt if her interacting with the " underprivileged " kids is a mere photo-op. Watching Deepika " dating " Siddharth Mallya (as compared to Ranbir Kapoor) brings to the mind " gold digger " . I get uncomfortable watching Priety Zinta and her ex Ness Wadia interact together.. just brings to the mind " awkward " . It was fun to see Shahrukh and Juhi with our own Bappi Lahiri and all his gold..!!! Now Sahara has bought a Pune team and are going to ask the " Bachchan Khandaan " to promote it.... thats going to be massively annoying for me and have to think about " happy thoughts " everytime I see them on screen. Ah, so much for my rant for IPL.... in a nutshell.. Guest guest
I agree 100% I wonder if we should add some botox to the list too?
