Guest guest
Dear , Hi, my name is . I guess when I responded, the person who wrote the original email () got her name attached to my response. Someone on the list gave me his name. I called and spoke to his physician's assistant, Allan Goldblatt. He made me very comfortable and seemed to know alot about autism and current therapies. He was only chelating one child at that time (back in September). Dr. Boris is an allergist and immunologist. We also had DJ tested for allergies too. DJ is 11 years old and I didn't want to wait any longer to chelate. The good thing was that he accepts insurance. He's the first specialist I take DJ to that does. Everyone else I paid for out of pocket. DJ is now takes 300mg Chemet and 100mg ALA every 8 hours, 3 days on and 4 days off. We started with the every 4 hours protocol (100mg chemet and 50 ala) but DJ was very very agitated. He doesn't seem to be affected with the every 8 hours. The changes in DJ has been subtle. Nothing significant but urine analysis tests show lots of lead and tin coming out. Just a little mercury. I'm remaining hopeful. I figure the stuff that is coming out shouldn't be there so I'll continue until the levels drop. DJ is not showing any signs of distress or regression so that makes it easier to continue. Blood tests show his kidneys and liver are fine so far. I have seen numerous children waiting to see him and I have noticed a few autistic children but I'm not sure what they are there for. Call to speak to Allan. He is very helpful. Tell him that I recommended you (my son's name is Cruz). He'll answer any of your questions. Take care and good luck, , DJ's Mom on 4/12/01 8:59 PM, Crosnic@... at Crosnic@... wrote: > > In a message dated 4/12/01 1:51:04 PM, casti71@... writes: > > << Dr. Marvin Boris is in Woodbury, New York on Long Island.
