Guest guest
Did he check for WBC, EBV, CMV? Also i have chronic swollen nodes, sometimes painful sometimes not. I have just begun doing lymph node massage and it seems to be reducing the size of the nodes in my neck. Some of them are large enough that you can see them. You can find the technique online. Hoping you feel better! The doctor says it's local irritation & can't find anything wrong. It comes & goes off & on during the day. It's mild & more unusual than annoying. Does this sound like the cfs sore throat symptom? Thanks. blessings, Paresh
Guest guest
Paresh, as a 34 yr. CFIDS survivor I have found that the chronic sore throat reoccurs from time to time especially if you have had additional stress, physical activity, other virus or allergies flare-up. anything like that will cause the sore throat to return. diane
Guest guest
Sore throat cam be due to acid reflux. You might try taking something for that and see if it makes a difference.
Guest guest
Hi Paresh If it's not acid reflux.. your sore throat could be allergy and/or sinus related like mine. I have found zinc lozenges to be helpful. Also gargling with salted water helps me. Let us know if you find something that helps you. Good luck. Chloe > > Sore throat cam be due to acid reflux. Guest guest
Hi Paresh, Yes, that is EXACTLY how it happens for me too. It is sporadic and may happen to me for a few days/weeks and then disappears just as quickly as it appeared...only to reappear possibly months later. Guest guest
I also just started having a chronic sore throat...weird. I wonder if it is some sort of allergy. I am going to try going back to the nettie pot and see if that helps....as well as gargling with salt water.
