Guest guest
Whine away. :-) It can be adrenal too - this bloating part. The irregular period is probably menopause *but* the reason you are having an early menopause is the thyroid! Remind me, was it you that used to have palpitations? Guest guest
Hi Jan:) Yes, it was me who used to have palpitations and would torment the forum about them:) As for " early menopause " - lol - I forgot to mention the fact that I'm fifty so my body in defintely right in wanting to slow down, or to stop, some functions:) You're saying it can be adrenal...what is the best way to test the adrenal functions? My symptoms are: sore and swallen breasts, bloated body (tummy, legs, TUMMY, TUMMY, TUMMY) and the feeling I'm not peeing enough considering the amount of water t I'm drinking (I also suffer from kidney stones so I drink about two liters of fluids a day). Any hint? Thanks Carla Il giorno 06/ago/04, alle 22:30, Janaina Viggiano ha scritto: > Whine away. :-) It can be adrenal too - this bloating part. Guest guest
Hi Carla This sounds very much to me like estrogen dominance rearing it's ugly head here, with a lack of progesterone to balance it. Yep, the urinary retention also, I think, can have a lot to do with the menopausal syndrome. I STILL haven't bought any progesterone, but I'm going to, if I have to go buy the progesterone USP stuff from Walmart! Guest guest
Carla, you need to take a good amount of vitamins and minerals, especially Bs (you want around 200% of the RDA) and around 5g C a day. You also need to get some adrenal glandulars or Cortef or Deltacortril - I know that like me you are not in the US so I am not sure what you are gonna be able to find. For Cortef you want 5mg 4x a day, for Deltacortril, 5mg 1x a day. People buy it at www.mastersmarketing.com You probably also need DHEA. For regular DHEA you want 10mg a day - if you can only find 25mg, don't worry, you can take that every other day (it is like Synthroid, stays a long time in the system). No need to cut it or anything. If you get 7-Keto DHEA, you can take 50mg a day or every other day safely. You'd know you are taking too much regular DHEA if your skin got oily and you got zits, that would be because the DHEA would be converting into testosterone. 7-Keto doesn't convert, so you can take more. I hope that is the piece of the puzzle for you. For me, the Deltacortril got rid of symptoms I'd been having since my teens, stuff that I'd assumed was just the way I was. The bloated feeling (both water retention and belly bloat from poor digestion), nausea, palpitation/panic attacks... It is worth a try. In those dosages it is perfectly safe. The worst that can happen is find out it did nothing for you. It is important though that you stick to the right dosage, and never take more, and if you are gonna stop, take half of what you were taking before for 1 or 2 weeks before stopping. For the breasts and other more meno symptoms, I recommend this group http://groups.yahoo.com/health/WmnsHormones I know nothing about this stuff, but the ladies there are very smart and helpful Jan Carla wrote: >Hi Jan:) > >Yes, it was me who used to have palpitations and would torment the >forum about them:) > >As for " early menopause " - lol - I forgot to mention the fact that I'm >fifty so my body in defintely right in wanting to slow down, or to >stop, some functions:) > >You're saying it can be adrenal...what is the best way to test the >adrenal functions?
