Guest guest
Hi Kristy-- I just read both your initial e-mails about Aiden and the followup. He *does* sound like a trooper and I'm so happy for him, you and his parents that he didn't have to have surgery. Thinking of you and your family . . . Guest guest
Kristy, Oh how I remember you talking about little Aidan. I can't believe he's already 3 years old. Time flies by!! We will say many prayers for him. Please keep us updated and I know our prayers will help him and his parents through this. a & -- Prayers needed Hi Everyone, Most of you know my grandson, Aidan, but for those of you who don't I will give you a brief update. Aidan is 3 years old and has VATER syndrome. VATER is an acronym for various medical problems in his body. When he was born he was missing a part of his esophogus, his heart had 2 holes and is in backwards, he had kidney reflux, his trachea collapsed, and later he developed a bone that grew over his soft spot that had to be scraped away and screws and a metal plate were inserted. (there are other problems but these are the major ones) Thankfully, as you can see, all of these problems were written in past tense. He has had 9 surgeries in his short life to fix all of these problems including a pace maker for his heart. He is a wonderful little fellow with loads of energy and up until now, he has been doing remarkably well. This evening, while my son, Arron, was washing Aidan's hair he discovered that one of the screws in Aidan's head has worked its way out and has actually broken through the skin and is protruding out of his head. Currently, they are on their way to the hospital, and likely, by tomorrow or Saturday, Aidan will have to have skull surgery to fix this problem. Because of all of Aidan's heart and trachea problems, surgery is never standard for him. Before the pace maker, Aidan went into cardiac arrest several times with the anestesia. He hasn't had a surgery since the pace maker last spring so I am not sure if the pace maker will help this problem or not. So, we would really appreciate any prayers you can send our way. And, pray for Arron and his wife Gigi, they are extremely worried and afraid for Aidan Thanks Kristy

Guest guest
Thanks for the prayers everyone! Aidan is home safe now. When he arrived at the hospital they were able to realize that the screw had come completely out and was just laying inside of his skin. So, they numbed the area and got the screw out. Arron said he was a real trooper and didn't cry once! We really thought at first that they would have to give him another skull surgery, thankfully, that screw had worked its way out or that is where we would have been today! Thanks again! Our prayers were answered! Guest guest
Kristy: I will definitely pray for Aidan, Arron, and Gigi. Gosh that poor baby has gone through so much in his life. My heart breaks for him. I will pray that everything goes smoothly and that he recovers quickly and I will pray that God keeps him well. God bless you and your family. Guest guest
Prayers are being sent. And you are right, it IS Spiritual warfare. Any meditation, grounding and development of awareness of 'Source' you can develop will be of benefit to you. Many people are caught up in the Medico/Big Pharma Syndrome and don't realize there are other ancient ways at working towards Healing. Yes, I am having to make use of Allopathic Medical techniques too, but I also avail myself of acupuncture, massage, Reiki (helps greatly with pain and relaxation), breathing techniques, attending a local drumming session, whether I'm able to drum or not myself, Etc. Breathing and Grounding techniques might be the most helpful as it seems that when we're sick we shallow breathe and draw into ourselves. I suspect that if and as you open yourself to one or more of these complementary methods you'll learn more ways to help yourself. Mind you, I've just spent what seems like the last month sleeping my life away with no energy, no appetite, beginning to seriously doubt my quality of life! The last time I spent three hours outside at a drumming session, I developed a sickness due to my environmental allergies! I have to work up enough energy to go to the doctor's and try to do any sides, such as a little shopping while I'm out. Generally, I take sleep aids late at night to go to bed, wake up in the morning to take my meds, stay up a couple/three hours, go back to bed for a few hours and then seem to feel better for the evening/night. It's as if my circadian rhythm is reversed. I even seem to have some energy during the wee hours! I'll sort things, do little jobs as I can and then other times I just lay there in my easy chair and watch TV, I know all the commercials by heart! It's wonderful that you seem to have the support of your family and they know you appreciate it!
