McCain is at it again. He co-sponsored a bill, written in secret and with no debate, that would allow the US military to arrest people in any country in the world, without warrants or rights, and spirit them away to the secret camps for whatever purpose. This, of course, includes snatching US citizens off the streets IN the US itself. No warrant. No trial. There is a provision that specifies that it does not apply to American citizens. However, there is a waiver to Congress provision that may override that, depending on interpretation.
