So naturally, when he reappeared, we thronged around him asking about his health. At 70+ he was still a sprightly old man and he quickly reassured us that he was perfectly all right. The reason he had been absent from his regular exercise was that he had been arranging for his family vacation. " You see the rail booking counters open at 8 am, but the queue forms three hours beforehand. So if you want Railway reservations 120 days hence, you need to get up early or even sleep at the door to grab the tickets available within the first 5 minutes. " " But Chacha, you could easily have booked on the internet from home! " " Ha! Try logging on at 8 am. It is an impossible task. Only after all the prime tickets are gone, can we log in. But, yes, I did book all the hotels and sightseeing from the web. " I admired Chacha. He was beyond 70 years, yet he was so net savvy! Chacha took a deep breath and continued, " My grand-son likes video games, so it had to be a hotel with gaming facilities. My daughter-in-law is so interested in all those beauty treatments, that the hotel must have an attached spa. And my son likes to work out in the gym, so that is again a must. I surfed the net and made sure that all our hotels have all that stuff, " My respect for Chacha rose steeply. Here was a grandfather who cared for all his family members and took the pains to make them comfortable. " But Chacha, if you are going on a vacation, then what is the point of doing all the same things that you are already doing at home? " Chacha smiled at me said, " Who said I was going? They are going and I am staying at home on a vacation. I shall be free to what I want. I can get up at what time I want. Eat whatever and whenever I like. Wear what touches my fancy. So you see it is my vacation. " No wonder Chacha was so industriously booking the hotels for his family.
