I went in for a fill today - after having a "I gotta have one now" fill 12 days ago .... I found - I had my full appetite back nearly .... would wake up starving - have breakfast - still starving and getting quite down about this band thing as I had put a kg or two back on. So after diarising my hunger to the clinic - they put a lot more fill in and bingo! back to what I should be eating yay! So today I went back for my normal fill (I have taken every 4th thursday off work for it - so had to get back to my normal fill cycle!) and in 10 days had lost around 4kgs!!!!!! So ... my learnings is that we ARE ALL different! took me a while to realise and I also asked today if I have a big band and yes I do ..... So today i got to wear my "I wish" clothes I bought in August - two sizes smaller For those that have had it done recently (I was only done in July) - and like me - felt way too fat to go to a gym - fearing they would be ridiculed - JUST DO IT! Best thing I did! I emailed the gym across the road from where I live and explained I was very big and very nervous and they were just sooo nice. Setting up an appointment and then selecting a GREAT personal trainer for me! I did feel rather self conscious the first week or two - but that soon disappears. I told my trainer on tuesday that on the weekend I managed 20 minutes on the treadmill and he said "well that is not bad but we can get you on there longer" and I reminded him that two months ago I could barely manage 5 minutes making it a 400% improvement and said "you gotta remember the starting point" hehe. (I have leg issues as well as weight issues so I am a bit sloooow). So - just do it! If anyone is around the Turramurra/wahroonga/hornsby area - give me a bell - cause there is a gym in the area where I go and they are most welcoming !
