Guest guest
Can't blame that on my doc. I'm tired of always trying something else. I'll finish the antihistamine course and go back on zyrtec once the hives move away! However, if they don't go away, I'll be going back to the doc and I'll try something new. Guest guest
Well, I didn't know that the flare up on my arms was hives until I went to the dr. My arms didn't itch. They were swollen and burning. I assumed I had another dreaded chronic disease. But, I'm quite sure that the doc was correct. It's hives. Antihistamines are helping the hives but the back spasms and leg pain have just been terrible. Might have to call the doc tomorrow and suggest he prescribe some lotion thing for the hives. Bad enough to have to handle the stress of the loss of your dad w/o having to deal with the gotee. But, it sounds like your sense of humor helped a lot! That helps me alot, too. Guest guest
<<< Might have to call the doc tomorrow and suggest he prescribe some lotion thing for the hives>> Sherrie, Don't waste your money on expensive creams or lotions...best thing in the world for hives/itching is a good old oatmeal bath! You can buy the stuff from a drug store or just use regular oatmeal and mix it in with a warm (not hot) bath and soak for a while. I get hives a lot and this is the only thing that really helps me. Good luck, Ann
Guest guest
Content of previous message edited. Thanks, Ann! I'll give it a try. Hey, maybe I'll even add a little nutmeg and cinnamon and have aromatherapy while I'm at it! lol Thanks for the advice.
