I guess this would be a good moment to mention this.. Bernice, there are 2

owners and 3 moderators on this list. If you find anyone from this list

harrassing you offlist, let us know. As you can see, we're a group of

supportive people. Just let us know and we should be able to help. Email Janet

or Doug (owners) or Jeannette, or myself.

Don't worry. I'll tell. Soon even. Y'all should have seen my BELL

bottoms. Jeans bought in a used clothing store followed by a trip to

the notions department at Younkers department store for customization

materials.

My friend Dennis on another list lives on Haight. It is becoming

yuppified, or, as the yuppies would say, upscale. The residents are

trying to keep that from happening but it is hard with the mayor they

have.

I have never met Dennis but he grew up in southeast Iowa and my father's

side of the family is from that area. One day Dennis was going through

his grandfather's funeral records and found my grandfather's name.

Apparently my granddad sang at his granddad's funeral.

I had a liver biopsy about three weeks ago. It wasn't bad at all. The Dr

sedated me pretty well. I can't even remember having it done. My liver was a

little tender after, but nothing I'd even call painful. And I'm a complete wimp

when it comes to pain! I pass out just having blood drawn knowing there are

needles involved!
