Guest guest
> Has anyone else experienced the sensation where one cannot find their " norm " ? That is I have been dealing with pain for such a long time at this point I feel strange when I actually am not feeling the massive pain of FM/ME. I feel out of sorts and while I am hurting in a way I just don't feel right and it is actually very unsettling... Yes, no pain is my status most of the time by not doing, resting with feet up, head back most of the time, and avoiding wheat-gluten and milk protein. Very hard to maintain if working but I retired on disability 12-1/2 years ago. Yet, last night, while stacking butter on chicken and veggies to microwave, terrible pain overcame me, beginning in neck and shoulders, making me feel sick to my stomach as well. Soon as I rested again, pain went away. Reclining with feet up and head back provides the relief from most symptoms most days. Pain, for me, is the result of behaviours: bread or pizza-eating, foods with milk in them like milk chocolate, being upright and still for too long at one time, many physical activities. My condition underlying CFS and FMS is called Orthostatic Intolerance which means my body has trouble maintaining an upright position, sitting or standing. Guest guest
All I can suggest is to monitor it very closely over a period of time and then talk to the dr who is treating it and see what they say.... ----- Original Message ----- From: Has anyone else experienced the sensation where one cannot find their " norm " ? Guest guest
That's a very interesting perspective. I very rarely feel 'good'. Most days are full of pain and fatigue, extreme brain dysfunction etc. I probably only get about one 'good day' every 6 months or so. Its totally random and don't know how it happens. However, when I do get one, it actually does seem weird to feel that good! I like it make no mistake, but I do feel strange.. almost like I don't know what to do with myself! So I think I know what you mean. > > Has anyone else experienced the sensation where one cannot find their " norm " ?
